Boris Becker accused of hiding £1m in bankruptcy case.

BBoris Becker hid properties in the UK and his native Germany and hi-tech investments as he tried to conceal more than £1 million from his bankruptcy trustees, it was claimed today. The former Wimbledon champion faces a jail sentence of up to seven years after being accused of failing to comply with his obligations to disclose information about his financial affairs following his bankruptcy in 2017.

Mr Becker, 52, from Battersea, south London, appeared in the dock at Westminster magistrates’ court to face 19 criminal charges in a case brought by the Insolvency Service.He is accused of concealing three accounts with JP Morgan in Belgium, plus one in Germany and another in Guernsey. He is accused of concealing €1.14 million (£1.04million) from the trustees.
